“Ginawa na nila ang lahat, sinabi na nila ang lahat, but hindi nila hinarap ang issue” Trillanes said (They did everything, they said everything, but they did not face the issue) in a press conference and saying that he is so confident to bring down President Duterte.
Trillanes cited a lot of things against the now administration and threatened those in his alliance to take a back turn. He mentioned a hundred congressmen in his counting that surrendered their allegiance from the president and was hoping to increase its number in no time.
Issues concerning corruption, illegal possession of wealth/property, and the murders that the president committed since he was the mayor up to now, was being highlighted by Trillanes and taunting the president to prove himself innocent.
He also furthers on describing their eyewitness Lascanas to be saying the truth; acknowledging his courage to stood up to what is right. Lascanas is a former police and his experience was not easy for him especially he was assigned as the handler of the notorious DDS controlled by Duterte at the time.
President Duterte has no words yet for his statements. Especially when Trillanes was asked by a media personnel as to what was his basis or reference, he told them: “base on…information” in an uncertain tone.
Making us think if he again utters baseless information just like before.
