The DPWH Davao Chief Information Officer, Dean Ortiz, have said that they are hopeful in this year that the construction for the flyover project in Tagum City will begin. The allocated budget for the said proposal has been already released and ready for use.*image used for presentation only (not the actual photo)
They are planning to set-up the flyover at the center of the city where heavy traffic is inevitable. For they have already projected on that area would forecast heavy traffic in the coming years, so they intended to avoid it with this plan.
Actually, it is the first flyover project to be implemented in the city according to Mr. Ortiz, and he is excited about this major infra project in the whole Davao Del Norte itself. This will benevolently help the traffic system in Tagum, where it is becoming known in the Davao Region.
Hopefully, this is the beginning of advancement of other cities in the region aside from Davao City.
