The very first college to be established inside a prison in the country will be implemented in Davao City. It will be located at the Ma-a City Jail, Davao. The construction of the building is almost ready and could start the class beginning this June 2017.

The courses offered are inline with USEP's curriculum. This means they will enroll in USEP and would graduate there at the same time. Instead of having the class inside the USEP campus, the teachers will travel into the jail college building to conduct the classes.
Furthermore, the slots for the students will be limited. Prior evaluation will also be set on the behavior and conduct of the inmates especially during the classes.
This move in Davao will serve as model for future establishments in other cities in the country. Hence, thorough observation will be strictly implemented as to judge the outcome of this project.
