The NBI is now in search for the retired policeman, Arturo Lascañas, who is now in hiding
The latter is accused of several murder charges in connection to the death of the radio broadcaster "Jun" Pala last September 6, 2003.
April 8, 2017, Lascañas left the country and flew to Singapore for the fear of being put to jail. Right now, there has no confirmation as to his whereabouts and authorities are on the pursuit of capturing him in any ways.
Lascañas is the self-proclaimed handler of the Davao Death Squad (DDS) and who stood against as witness in the opposition to bring down President Duterte when he was still a mayor in Davao as the Head of this group.
